Apple, Samsung Both Found Guilty In Korean Patent Case

Two things need to be looked at here.

First and foremost: Losing or even receiving a split decision from peers of Samsung's own home turf is never good. If you can't get majority in this area, the outlook can be far more worse away from the turf. This scenerio clearly played out yesterday.

Two: In Apple's portfolio, the 3Gs and 4, are in all reallity old handsets. Purchasing them for practically free as the 4s is now preferred by Apple consumers and now the 5 is on the way. Since contracts end every two years, the 4s and 5, will most definitely oust the previous as their consumers upgrade. Samsung on the other hand, is still selling many of the handsets affected by the suits. This is never good when injuctions are highly asked upon. Because of this, Apple has an advantage.
