Hopefully it does - My HDTV has an ATSC tuner, and eventhough I live in a small town, I get two channels, and one of them comes through nice and clear, crisp, in HD. It could be because of the market in NY. The signal degredation due to over-use could be so great that the quality is just crap - that is just speculation though. Hopefully this improves enough to make tv watching on the device actuially enjoyable.
