I would rather have a phone with a lackluster, smaller screen with great system specs than a phone with a large gorgeous screen but terrible internal hardware.

It seems like in the past with cheaper phones like this they've tried to make phones that compete with screen size/quality but skimped on the processor and such, which leads to a terrible user experience. This seems like a much better compromise.

Agreed... I have avoided Android devices up until now for several reasons, but the two biggies that remain are 1) that I can't stand the giant 4"+ screens that most Android OEM's think every Android device must have in order to compete at all, and 2) that Android devices with screens of 3.5" and less seem to always get the short end of the stick on internal hardware, radios, and extra features. I will never go iPhone because I detest Apple's business practices, and I decline to sell my soul to that snobby and uber-expensive iTunes, but this phone, this LG Motion, just might be the kind of Android I could go with. The Samsung Rugby Smart grabbed my attention earlier this year, but if this has decent internals and lives up to the specs liste...
