The problem is the disparity between the quality of the data networks on the big 2 and Sprint. I don't know how many people here actually have Sprint but I do. 3G speed tests average about 0.2 MB. 4G speed tests average, when I can get it, 1.7MB. This is downtown in St Louis, MO which is hardly a small town.
I am GLADLY willing to pay $15 more a month to the big two to get 3G speeds that average in my area about 2 MB or 4G speeds that average 10MB. I see that extra $15 as a bargain. I mean what is the difference in paying $80/mo for a phone I can't really use or paying $95 for a phone that gets signal anywhere I go.
