at&t get hit hard by the break up of the Bell System in 1984, and from 1984 until at&t was bought by Cingular it was just one long decline by at&t as they got smaller and smaller and smaller...by the mid to late 90's at&t was dying, and everybody knew it.
And most of the people who left at&t left for Sprint....and they left by the millions...
And then Sprint screwed it up....they started badly screwing up customer accounts, they started allowing their network to degrade and fall apart....they got arrogant...
Sprint has no one to blame but themselves....whining and playing the victim will only make their situation worse.
