People are putting too much of their own emotion into this

And not enough common sense. Verizon and AT&T rule their respective roosts. They do not need to negotiate or have competitive price plans - as they pretty much rule it all.

Let's forget for a second that Verizon and AT&T are MUCH more expensive than Sprint, and look at the fact that Sprint is the ONLY national carrier with unlimited data.

It's the fact that Verizon and AT&T think they can get away with capping you - and also charging you more.

So yes, Dan was discussing how two mega-companies are not good for the average person - and it shouldn't be in any ones interests (besides the corporations) for Verizon and AT&T to expand further.

AT&T and Verizon also are not "Masters" of business - they simply BUY everyone and then paste their name on top of it.

This is the classic tale of the trust fund Harvard baby vs the kid from the slums rising up against it. I'm pretty sure we all know how that goes.
