Obviously he would say it's okay for Sprint and not for Verizon and at&t. Thats actuially pretty laughable, seriously. Oh yeah, it's fine for Us, and all the smaller guys, but our larger competition? NO.
I would re-read the article like this: Sprint CEO says: Who the hell cares?
...
you probably failed economics.
less competition = higher prices for consumers. without a third company that can compete....keeping AT&T and Verizon's prices in check, your phone bill would be $200 month. You think shared plans are a hit to the wallet, imagine a la carte plans that would surely come.....
Take your fanboy pants off, and think like a consumer for 5 seconds...
...
This article isnt even about shared plans, and I didn't mention shared plans anywhere in my previous post, so what are you talking about ?
Also, nobody is saying that sprint should dissapear.
...
Obviously shared plans aren't mentioned, that was an example brosef. But that is what the top players are doing, so it's relevant...
re-read it so you understand:
We're certianly working very hard to compete with AT&T and Verizon," said Hesse.
If they can't compete, then you get screwed more by AT&T and Verizon, i think that's pretty self explanatory.
...
I'm already getting screwed by Verizon. Sprint's existence isn't really helping me all that much as Verizon only sees AT&T as a legitimate competitor. I am glad to see Sprint and T-Mobile as other options but they aren't really bothering these two behemoths.
...
They are helping more than you know. T-Mobile is the smallest national carrier and the gov't wouldn't let them be gobbled up. What's that tell you? Just image sprint, or T-Mobile were gone... You'd be 'helped' a lot less my friend. And you think you're being screwed now
...
Yes and because the government didn't let T-mo get gobbled up jobs were lost. Thanks Obama for not creating jobs.
...
Oh God. An Obama basher found his way onto a phone site...I'm surprised there wasn't a bible verse quoted at the end of your post. I think a lot more jobs would've been lost if ATT bought T-Mobile
...
What does a Bible verse have to do with anything? You think more jobs would have been lost? Well you can think that, however all evidence points to the opposite conclusion.
...
Yeah, because Obama was personally responsible for the PUBLIC not wanting this sale to go through? This sale was not in the PUBLIC interest. Even if Obama wasn't president, this would not have gone through either way.
