Sprint's inability to compete...

Is not the fault of at&t or Verizon....Sprint has no one but themselves to blame for their problems.....playing the victim of mythical 'at&t/Verizon duopoly' is not going to help Sprint turn things around...

There was a time, which actually wasn't all that long ago, when Sprint was the leading phone company in the country, they had the best network, the best coverage, the best customer service....and they squandered their position through ineptitude, a long history of bad decisions, mismanagement and general incompetence.

It's not at&t or Verizon's fault that Sprint drove customers away by making horrible billing errors, that they wasted money on the Nextel acquisition, or that they let their network go to crap.....

If they want to ...

Remember that Sprint and T-Mobile did not become what they are through multiple mergers like VZW and AT&T. Hence the network differences.

Excellent point. Sprint buying Nextel will finally make Sprint's network better some 6 yor so ears later....

But you're right......and i'm personally a fan of competition. It helps my bank account..

I hear what you are saying, but investors look towards the Future, not the past. This is all new management. The past executives ran a dumpster fire, now the ship is turned and headed in the right direction. Let's hope it all pans out so Sprint can stay around to keep Verizon and AT&T in check...
