These plans may actually work out better for some. I actually compared my current plan with some of the sample plans and it actually seems like a better deal. Unlimited minutes and text, with 10gigs of data. Now, obviously I would have to see the actual plans and read the fine print but, just maybe. Currently, 700 minutes with unlimited but, throttled data at 3gigs and my wife has 2 gigs on here. Almost seems like a no brainer but, fine print is what gets us. I guess we shall see.

On another note, I believe Tmobile is considering this idea, if I'm remembering an article I read a while back correctly. So, this may be the future of mobile communication. Unless somebody comes up with a way to seriously compress spectrum, while increasing data speeds and how mobile devices utilize it, I dont see this type of plan going away. Even smaller carriers are getting away from unlimited data.
