we said something about size - it has the same thickness AND width as a 5G video ipod, it's about 1 cm taller than that ipod as well. apple did this so it will fit into almost any accessory or speaker pack with a dock connector.
as far as voice dialing and speech to text, it doesn't look like it's included in the launch version, who knows if apple will add it as an update. and as far as memo, apple didn't demo it, but there is a "notes" program.
