What's the point of live video sharing?
Why would you only want to see what the other person is seeing, but not the other person? You can easily have a true video conferencing phone, yet you don't want manufacturers to have a lens on the inside or at least one that rotates to face the user? And if you turn the phone around so the other person can see you, then you can't see them.. catch 22. Answer me this Cingular.

On the Youtube video of the live video sharing, they're using LG CU500's that have a rotating lens, so you can use it as a true video phone right? But then in the article it says Cingular doesn't want you to be able to do that??

I think that the USA is Ready for Video Calling. The Rest of the world has been doing it for years already, I think the USA should be on top of the food chain when it comes to things like this dont you think? or at least in par with the rest of the world. Cingular I think you should let us do more instade of less. 9 out of 10 people want to do Video Calling, ATT thought so as well and they where already on that path befor it got eatten up, but then again ATT is coming back i wonder if things at Cingular will change, Even tho i hear that the heads up there wont be changing at all, i hope they do. I think Cingular should give us Video calling, i think they even should bring a 3G Sidekick with video calling, for the young people with that i thi...

It also appears that it is one way only? Meaning you can send video of yourself or your surroundings, but you can't see the other person? That's lame.
