Maybe it's because they haven't been able to get all the info or news up yet, but it seems as if Sprint and/or CDMA phones in general are few and far between at this years CES... just a thought.

WTF!!! no kidding I would love to get my hands on the Motorola Z6 I really want a cool slider I am so sick of my flip phone and pocket dial way too much with a bar style phone but sprint needs to get some cdma versions of these gsm phones i dont think they realize that the phone models they offer affects their market share of customers they miss out on a lot of business to cingular and t-mobile just because they dont have cool phones so lets hope they jump on the bandwagon and bring on some cool phones

I think cell phone carriers are really finding value and seeing more room to grow on these GSM networks. Im not bashing any other network or carrier specifically I just think the reason more makers are not making more CDMA phones is because CDMA does not seem to have the same potential that the GSM network ultimately promisses. Companies want to put their money into growth and GSM just seems to to be offering that more than any other network.

bombed? who has the ONLY 4G network in the works TODAY? not any other us carrier.
Why? Because of the merger. Nextel and Sprint were the only ones to own massive amounts of the 2.3GHz/2.5GHz spectrum.

Who was first to release EVDO rev. A and will be the first to release EVDO rev. B?

How many people were laid off when AT&T/Cingular merged? Or when Cingular bought Spring? Or when Alltel bought Western Wireless? Or when Verizon was created by each merger between Bell Atlantic Mobile, Vodafone/Airtouch Cellular, GTE Wireless and PrimeCo?

Who has the only established PTT network that more than 20 Million people use, (think about it this way: without the 20 million nextel phones, any random construction job would take longer, so because ...

I still want to know why Sprint isnt trying to compete with Cingular on a handset standpoint I keep hearing about new Nextel phones, Cingular phones, and Verizon phones but there aren't any NEW Sprint phoones only versions of phones previously offered by other carriers... I am no longer that impressed with Sprints phones really the only two things that are keeping me from signing up with another carrier is that later this year Cox Communications (using Sprints network) who I work for is going to offer wireless service at which point a cell phone will be far less expensive for me but I really wish in the mean time to keep my business and that of others Sprint would step up to the plate and come out with something new and hopefully exciting

I agree with you. We don't have a lot of the phones that people want.

There have been exceptions:

Fusic, Blade, Katana, Data Cards, Treos...

I wish sprint would get with samsung, lg, and motorola and develop a whole new lineup of phones from the bottom up.

A whole new design theme that distinguishes sprint from the competition.

A lot of GSM phones for the US, are massaged versions of overseas phones.
CDMA phones are developed almost solely for the US market.

C'mon sprint, get it together with handsets, and you'll have the market share. We need a couple sweet ass sliders, a few icon phones that everyone associates with sprint.

Well I am not sure if Tulsa and OKC are going to launch at the same time after SD and Pheonix but I know that one of the two markets will be the third in the system what I am hoping will happen is that we can migrate our accounts from Sprit to Cox w/o paying a ETF
