I'm also in South Florida and get 3Mbps in both directions. As I said, it's no Verizon but it's like saying Bloomingdales has better quality merchandise than Walmart. Of course they do, but what is it you're buying?
Considering I pay $40 per month and have unlimited everything I'd say I'm getting a pretty good deal. For $70 you don't even have to worry about being throttled. More than you can say about any other 4G competitor. I never drop calls and I'm on the old plan that gives me unlimited everything with 100mb of streaming. Since most of my data is web browsing, downloading applications, and e-mail this plan is perfect for me.
But you understand that Metro has no business calling 3 Mbps up or down 4G, right?
