I'm sure there was a significant import tariff that may also have priced HTC a little higher as well. Go to Korea and see how nearly every car on the road is Korean made as well as all nearly all of the consumer electronics and appliances used by the population. National pride runs deep and that's the way it should be. I still drive american made cars and always try to buy american made products first but it really is a choice that's harder and harder to make.
