Is it that bad? Not that I've ever really entered a roaming area while using a Virgin phone on Sprint.

No, it is not that bad....I have had virgin for 5 years now, I travel everywhere in VA, WV, MD, and PA with my job, and have never once had an issue at all

Just wondering. Coverage in Florida is pretty good. But man, I can't deal with these horrible data speeds. Sprint needs to light up 4G in South Florida, pronto.

I drive a taxi part time in the philadelphia suburbs and in the 2 years I have work there I never once lost service. people need to realize just because they get bad service doesn't mean that the rest of the country gets bad service. I'm not trying to be mean or a jerk but usually people still stuck in their 2 year contract talk bad about virgin mobile. don't be mad at virgin mobile because they have an unlimited plan for $55 a month plus sales tax. the contract customers are paying close to 10 dollars a month and just tax, 911 fees, and other miscellaneous fees. for 35 dollars a month you get unlimited web, unlimited text , and 300 minutes. instead of talking bad about a company that has good deals, people should try to get out of their con...

Virgin Mobile is awesome! I have their service and have never, ever had a single problem. I get very fast speeds on my device (Samsung Galaxy 5). Call quality is crystal. Perfect.

You do NOT get 'very fast speeds' on Virgin's network. Simply because 'very fast speeds' don't exist on Virgin's network.

i can easly download an app on vm withing 5 mins and im on vm/sprints 3g network with 1 megbit speeds yah its not as fast as wimax 10 megbit or lte 25 megbit but at 1 megabit i can donload a 4 megabyle mp3 file in under a mins so i dont have problems

wow thats crazy i just watch my download manager and it avrages around 0.8 to 1.1 meg for me here in topeka ks

This truly be the case, I will be the first to admit that I stand corrected.
Then the native Sprint footprint no roaming must be quite improved.
I wonder how many of these repsonses are from subscribers that stay near larger towns and cities and do not venture too far from the interstates....
