Wish it were coming to Big Red; for all their hairy chest-thumping about best provider their phone line-up sucks, big time.

eh, I'm very happy with my Droid 4, which has the same exact resolution screen, but 4" so the phone isn't as huge as this will be. I'd rather have a smaller, higher res screen than a larger one at the same res. Hopefully this means ICS is coming soon for D4

Other than the different versions of Android, are there any significant differences between this phone and the Droid 4?

I agree. I switched to Verizon last year after 12 years with Sprint and their and their lineup is horrible. I just upgraded to the Samsung S3 so that I can have an up to date phone feature wise when I am not really a Samsung fan. Meanwhile Sprint is spitting out devices.

Interestingly, this phone is quoted as having a 4.3" screen, but is the same dimensions as the Droid 4, even down to the res. But it has on-screen keys, so is Motorola only quoting the usable resolution of the screen, and just including the buttons into the screen size of 4.3" now for bragging rights?

Yeah but Sprint sucks. They dont even have an LTE network. What? 6 cities? So what if they're pumping out phones. Their network is so horrible you get dialup speeds on 3G. Verizon has the Galaxy S3. What more do you want? That's the phone most people want anyway. They got a One X variant on the way and guarantee you Verizon will get much better Motorola handsets than Sprint. That's for sure. You're lusting over this? It has a qHD display. Please Just be patient.

Don't worry Marry, I'll take care of this...

Verizon may not be unlimited but at least it's better than 56kbps on Sprint's 3G fighting for bandwidth with iSheep such as yourself and hoodrats on Boost, Virgin, prepaYd and their million other MVNO's.

I have never ever gone over 1GB in data usages on Verizon. Maybe 1.5GB one month but that's the most. It's called wifi. Use it.

Shared data planed works for us...

2. Crackberry for the girlfriend

I'm glad to have both Verizon 4G LTE AND Unlimited data.

Right now my life is dedicated to saving money to move back to Connecticut, but IF I can affod to pay retail for the 32GB GALAXY S4, and Samsung MAINTAINS removable/expandable battery & memory card then I'll probably get that. If Samsung ruins the accessibility of the battery & memory card on the S4, then I'll pay retail for a white 32GB S3.

I am sooooo against non-accessible battery & memory card!!!!!

Also..."sprint has horrible data" your solution? Use WiFi. so your argument about ABSOLUTELY no data applies to both companies. Thanks for the free hook-up big red 😉

Personally I am waiting for a follow-up to the Samsung Stratosphere!!! My first Android smartphone was the original Moto Droid, very bad experience, I am very, very weary about spending money on another Motorola smartphone!

The S3 IS THE "It" phone!
The S2 was the top selling Android phone for a while, and now the S3 ALREADY is the top selling Android phone in the world, and will continue to be.
