That royally stinks

Sparrow was an *exceptional* application. Now they've purchased it and are killing it off. Now we lose a really terrific desktop/mobile client, and given how absolutely terrible Gmail for iOS and Gmail for Android is, it's pretty sad.

Isn't that why they bought them ? Maybe they realised that their App should be filed under G (for garbage) and maybe they want to make it better by buying the competition, and using them to improve their own products.

What I take from this is that they simply want to improve there email services while hurting the compitition. Now adays that seems to be the way to go.

then why did it say they are still providing service for the clients aka iphones , if google wanted to hurt them they would of just closed it down and smiled at apple and watch apple squirm with another progarm that it couldnt use

Remember , exclusive apps mean a lot to apple. Remember Instagram???...Any app that was exclusive for apple that in the future will not be certainly does not help apple.

They didn't say they were going to kill it, he's just upset that Apple didn't buy it
