it was a good review of the phone but about the tv was just carrier bashing. he mentions how sprint tv isnt good. who cares, atleast sprint has live tv unlike verizon or more channels to offer then cingular. seriously that was messed up to bash sprint like that about the tv.

could have showed the live tv in landscape mode and would have been an actual review, but sorry its not in verizon or cingular so we can highly say stuff is great on thier network even if its clips

Yes, compare some of the content on other carriers to what Sprint has, but more could've been reviewed about the phone.

I too am a little irked you guys spend so much time harping on ondemand and sprint tv. I mean, nearly one third of the review is about this. I would have liked to see more about the phone, like the user interface structure, things like the build quality, etc.

it is rare that we say anything (let alone anything negative) about a carrier service; we usually try to keep our reviews strictly about the phones themselves, however the sprint TV issue has been something that has become more and more annoying the more we test 3G phones from other carriers. i am so into 3g services now that i often find myself turning to streaming video instead of spending time loading music onto the phone.

Pair your bluetooth headphones with the phone, then while playing music hit options then go down to use bluetooth. But only in the media player is this possible.

I own both a Sprint TV and a Cingular Video phone (since I recently worked for Sprint and now work for Cingular). On Cingular, you have to buy an unlimited Data plan (minimum $19.99) to have access to a limited set of content (ESPN News, Comedy Central, CNN, a few other channels) which offers clips of anywhere from 20 sec to 4 minutes. To actually get Live TV (included in Sprint's $25 Power Vision pack) you have to purchase the MobiTV application and service for yet another $9.99 per month. Overall, I have access to twice the content on Sprint for a few bucks less. The content is not necessarily specifically what I want, but I don't see Cingular offering streaming satellite radio or Live TV channels on their service.

That being said, I fi...

Great information thank you for providing that comparison! One thing to remember is that Sprint is actively rolling out Rev A., as well as preparing 4g/Wimax to launch in the near future. These advancements will hopefully help in the areas Sprint is lacking.
