Google to Resume Galaxy Nexus Sales Soon with Jelly Bean Fix

The version of this for PC's would asserting a patent for doing a search of the PC memory from the 'menu'....which of course is the most convenient place for such a feature, and is exactly where one would expect to find it.

Searching the phone memory is OBVIOUS functionality, it is just adding something to phones that has been on PC's for decades...and putting the search on the home screen is the most obvious and convenient place to put it.

Taking an obvious feature and putting it in the most obvious place is not something that Apple, or anyone else, should be allowed to 'patent'....

Or maybe I can claim a patent on the idea of putting the lock on a car door on the outside of the door...you know...instead of the inside where you can't reach it.
