Apple objects to being able to search the phone from the home screen? They claim a patent on THAT? 😲

Wow, that's just.....utterly asinine...there's just no other word for it.....

Yep, it's great to have a Judge in your deep deep pockets.

Though Apple is still fighting the Vatican on the use of God and who invented religion first.

You don't pay attention to judge names, do you?

Judge Koh, the judge that made this ruling, is the same judge that dismissed Apples patent lawsuit against Motorola with prejudice, meaning they can not be sued for that again, as far as I understand.

Judge Koh is definately not in apple's pockets.

Probably not, but I don't see how even the most extreme Apple supporter can think that this 'patent' on a really simple and obvious idea has any validity whatever.

Apple can't claim a patent on the idea of having a widget in a particular location, that's stupid. And hopefully, this lawsuit will end with that result.
