Actually, I've seen the releases regarding the Network Vision project and everything appears to be moving forward at a steady pace. If the information is accurate, and Sprint makes no major policy changes regarding price plans (nothing in the works that I've heard of) Big Blue and Big Red may have cause for some concern in the next few years.

I totally agree. The huge, huge downside of sprint this whole time has been their network, and how awful it is. Their CDMA call quality was through the floor, sounding like a tin can in outer space, and their data speeds have been awful. Just awful.

When they open up their LTE network, it will really be a totally new game.

Data speeds have been hit-or-miss, but Sprint's call quality has ALWAYS been top notch for me.

Sprint's network isn't awful. And it isn't up to par with Verizon or AT&T. Adding LTE will help this dramatically (and allow me to get a true LTE phone through Virgin Mobile).

I do. They've dealt themselves a bad hand in the past and recovered. Why not again?

They can do it right this time long as they don't run out of money
