So... reading the FAQ on their site and watching the video, it seems pretty clear this all about bringing some of those crazy Korean phones to the U.S., much sooner than the 1-2 year lag we usually see.

So what does SK offer now, that they'll be trying to bring to the U.S. soon? Check out the latest in their Korean lineup:

All i have to say is... "Verizon reliability with a great phone selection? Sign me up!" Wow, if only I understood Korean i would read the specs on those phones.

Well, too many clamshells for my taste, but I was impressed that all the phones I looked at had screens with 262k colors. I wish I could see those things in person.

If only I could read Korean, I'm sure I'd be blown away by the features. Again though, I'd much rather have a bar phone than those clamshells.

but thequestion is will americans buy those phones?

american people as a whole tend to be very old fasioned people. they don't want a phone with a camera or that can surf the web the just want a phone that works. they think all those extra gadgets are jus tone more thing to break.
