And yesterday Verizon confirmed that Cingular is now Number-One in customer growth across America - more customers chose Cingular than Verizon last quarter!

See what happens when you tell the general public your number one. The company I work for actually switched to cingular also, for no other reason but thinking Cingular just has to be better now cause of their ranking is number one in customers, now they cant get reception in the elevator anymore. Makes me laugh. Don't flame me muchdrama I know Cingular is a fine company. I'm just glad I can talk in the elevator with my verizon phone. 🤣 🤣

You don't think potential customers turn to other carriers because of advertising? Perhaps the person in charge of such matters should have actually tested Cingular's product before switching the entire company over to them?

It shouldn't blow anyone's mind. It was surprising, yes...but mind blowing? No. So far it signals a shift in the wind...not the downfall of Verizon.
