First BlackBerry 10 Device to Lack a Physical Keyboard
A little to late to the show
If platforms from Microsoft, RIM, Nokia, and others fail its not good for anyone.
Most people who have never used one and are used to android / ios would probably be terrified and totally lost when using a BB for the first time. Most of the people I know would never, ever switch from android to blackberry - there are lots of android phones that have a slideout keyboard, get one of those.

But when LTE becomes common enough that phone can get by with ONLY an LTE radio and nothing else....battery life will not be an issue...
Case in point - compare a CDMA/LTE phone to a GSM/WCDMA phone. The gsm device wins every time. Compare the newest Galaxy S II At&t batter life vs. T-Mobile battery life. GSM wins every time based on comparable battery size.
There's no such thing as being 'too late' to enter a market....
When you say that product X is 'too late'....the implicit assumption behind this is that the way the market is TODAY is set in stone and that this is the way it will be from now until the heat death of the universe.....which is nonsense....
It's not true of ANY market that it is set in stone, and it is certainly not true of the smartphone market, which has witnessed an exceptional amount of volatility over the last 5-10 years...
