Why didn't you save money, skip the Nexus, and instead make SURE you got the S III in on time?

You realize this is not good, right? The S II was massively HUGE for you, and your Android sales.

I can say with confidence that your two best selling phones these last 6+ months have been the S II and iPhone.

The S III should have been your priority.

The Galaxy Nexus on the other hand.....was pretty dreadful, and an overall waste of money. Verizon already stole the thunder, and by then, we knew of the S III.

Since T-mobile is having the same issue with their SIII, I tend to believe it's Samsung that is at fault. So the better question is why is Samsung screwing this launch up, since they apparently want to "beat Apple"?

It is indeed Samsung's fault. They are experiencing high demand for this phone since all the carriers are offering it. Its an OK phone in my opinion nothing special still only dual core. Meh. Want to see quad core phones now! 😁

Qualcomm's dual-core S4 chip has veen proven to be jyst as capable as Samsungs Quad-Core Exynos.

Watch some vids on YouTube, and benchmark comparisons.

It's not just "as capable" it is actuially faster, and performs better in real world applications, and in benchmarking. The dual cores most likely use less energy too, so you save on battery life.

Webpage load times & battery performance are the 2 most important functions of a processor to me.

Um... production may be a small portion of the issue, but the way I understand this, demand was higher than anticipated. Neither of the carriers are at fault, and the only blame to Samsung is for underestimating the demand for their product. Since Apple is still having "drawing board" leaks and nothing solid regarding specs, I really don't believe this was an effort to "beat Apple"

The Iphone 5 isn't coming out til September or October anyway, so either way the S3 will substantially beat the IPhone 5.

Let's not forget that this phone already launched globally and I gotta say that with the Iphone5 timing they have simply been overwhelmed with the insane demand for this device......guess we'll just have to wait....and wait after waiting.....
