This could get interesting if they allow this to be applied to an iPhone purchase.
We could see a pre-paid iPhone price war between Cricket and Virgin Mobile.
Sprint can't afford to get in a price war over a deeply discounted pre-paid iPhone but on the other hand, they also can't afford to lose a bunch of their VM customers.
They took on the Apple contract bc they were bleeding customers over no iPhone, now they are getting squeezed on their pre-paid side.
