The original Evo had a 512mb partition for app storage which was large for 2010. As of 2011 all flagships have at least 1gb of internal app storage with certain manufacturers like Motorola opening the entire internal memory to app storage(Droid X/Droid 2 effectively had 8gb of app storage). Without knowing exactly how the GS3 is partitioned I can guarantee you given that the lowest internal memory device is 16gb will have at least 1-2gb for internal app storage which as long as you're not downloading games is plenty.
