First off Verizon doesnt have to follow what everyone else does. If they did that then they would not be one of the best carriers out there. Second, this lawsuit is not going to go anywhere. The statement, "Every other phone carrier allows full bluetooth capability so Verizon should also," is not going to hold up at all. Theres no rules saying what each carrier should offer to its customers. Verizon didnt falsly advertize anything. THe phone has bluetooth, it can connect to a PDA or PC via bluetooth for modem usage. I am also going to shoot down, "Well bluetooth is bluetooth," because if that was the case then Microsoft should be sued for offering Bluetooth mice and keyboards that you cannot use a BT headset with, or exchange files with. Motorola should also be sued for not having the HS8*0 bluetooth headsets able to transfer files with the computer. And for the people who complain that it cannot work with a bluetooth enabled car are wrong as well. I have seen plenty of instances where you can use a car's handfree bluetooth ability with the v710. Just because it cant transfer the phonebook is not the end of the world. Do you want the car to drive you places and wash and bathe you too? (Actually I would now that I think about it.) VZW is going to go to court, laugh at you guys and walk out. They make millions of more dollars from the people that actually use their services and have no idea about this bluetooth issue. They are not going to worry about you handful of people that do not know how to research something before spending hundreds of dollars... Shocked
