---" The judge said Apple's request would put too much pressure on her court's calendar."---

How many more times do we need to see you in court before you realize you're wasting court's time with these lawsuits? Let's get through the rest of these first.

Apple innovate? Is that even possible? I thought Apple just bullied or sued everyone and took their tech?

Pretty much. It goes back to what I said last week. Apple is running scared. They know they've been outclassed at this point even with a mid-range smartphone that is 4G. This was a stall tactic to try to keep certain devices from coming to market before they can release the iPhone 5 in hopes of being competitive.... yes, I know, Apple is beating Android in the marketplace, but also seeing plenty of reports of unsatisfied iPhone users no matter how many fanboys we see posting on various sites.

Android has been on top of ios for quite a while now for activations and users. Apple leads only in phones sold as Android has multiple manufacturers.

Naw, the iPhone's pretty cool. I just wish Apple was cooler about customization. Other than that it's an awesome phone and I can see why so many people like it. I like android because I can root my phone and put custom ROMs on it, but most people don't care for that. Have a little empathy.

Apple is definately not cool with customization. They are cool with locking you down and not providing you with a choice, however.

When you buy an apple product, you are buying Apple's vision of what they think your device should be, and what they think it should do.

They really don't care what YOU think, they don't care what features YOU want, they don't care what kind of customization YOu want. When you buy their phone, you are really buying THEIR phone, and they don't care to let you change it.

That may not sound good, but it's really not that bad. It would be bad if the iPhone was a terrible phone, but it's not. Like I said, I'm not an iPhone person, and I definitely think what they're doing here is childish, but the iPhone IS a nice phone. You do not have as many choices as you would when using an android, but some people don't care. Personally, I love how it feels when I get something like SuperD working, but that's just me.

So you don't think that adding a bunch of features that are already part of Ice Cream Sandwich and Windows Phone is 'innovative' enough? 🤣

🤣 That's exactly how I took it. This childish behavior of Apple is way beyond old already. I like the iPhone but it really lacks in some feature capabilities (software) compared to Android. An example, not being able to attach a photo, etc from within an email. You first have to go to photos and select the photo(s) to email before starting the email. Basic functionality that's missing from the phone and it wasn't even mentioned as an added feature in the upcoming iOS6. Amazing.

I am very glad the judge denied the temporary injunction. Apple needs to give up trying to stifle the competition. This comes from an owner of the iPhone 4S and SGSII.

When the iPhone first came out I had one for a week. I took it back lol. I had gone into to purchase an advanced phone, not a glorified iPod. They released it without even being able to do basic phone functions like MMS. To me what your describing is along the same lines, They keep coming out with things like Siri when it's the basic things that would be nice.

At this point I would put the iPhone in a category more akin to drugs than phones. I work in a call center and I can't even begin to explain how many calls I get a day where people's iPhones have been stolen within the first 30 days and they are desperate to get another. So maybe we should take another look at their sales and take that into consideration. What if that were...
