Those 9600 decommissioned iDEN towers will still have better coverage than 9600 active Sprint CDMA towers.

Verion Troll?

I'm not partial to ANY carrier. I just don't like that Sprint rents it's network ourt to 1257 MVNOs, then wonders why they have slow data sppeds.

Grab your Sprint phone and head to northern New England and tell me about your fantastic data coverage.

every carrier rents out their network to 1257 MVNOs. And I was actually just in Bennington, VT and it worked fine for me....All I'm saying is no carrier is perfect.

But for the service and value that Sprint provides, it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be....

I agree. No carrier is perfect as they all have their problems. I have both AT&T & Sprint and I can confirm there are times my Sprint phone outperforms my AT&T phone which AT&T supposedly has the superior 3G network.

I am perfectly fine with the service I receive from Sprint. Could it be better? Of course! I'm just waiting for Network Vision to ramp up which should start in the next month or so where I live to take Sprint to the next level.

No way, no verizon here. I have had nothing but bad experiences with sprint. I've personally found their 3G network to be painfully and excrutiatingly slow. Also, whenever I receive a call from somebody using sprint, or verizon CDMA, I can tell right away because it sounds like I'm listening through a tin can in outer space.

True im some areas of their network right now. But that is all set to change once they complete their network upgrades plus the launch of their HD voice service should be good things coming for Sprint customers in all aspects of the service not just data speeds.
