I can not wait to update my phone. This looks to be promising, I can not wait to rub it in to the face of all the Apple haters I work with. Android users will be so jelllly!

Let's just say, it will be very interesting this fall. Between Windows Phone, which already has some of these features and Apple's iOS upgrade. Im not trolling, just saying that these features aren't unique. It will be a matter of which company can implement them better, this fall.
I guess we shall see. But, in the end, it will be about preference.

Absoloutly. I mean, if you really want to get technical, each platform definately has at least one huge advantage over any of the others, but again, you're totally right, that's based on preference. Some people really love the security features that blackberry offers, however for other users that is not even a passing thought. I know my buddy loves those live tiles that windows phone has, and me personally, I really like the homescreens / widgets that android phones offer.
The OS that is marketed the best is truly the one that will take off.

I agree and marketing is what Apple does best. I'm not hating but I just don't feel that there is anything innovative about what Apple does. They just make their products and features easier to use for the masses and use very clever marketing tools.
I'm just glad we have choices. That's all I care about. You need companies like Apple and Google to push companies like Microsoft. I mean look at what they're doing with Windows Phone. It's pretty minimalistic at this point but I think they have some surprises in store with Apollo. I tell you one thing it's gonna be a very interesting Q4. Oh yeah.

It's nice to see posts like this! Discussing the +/-'s
of each OS. Instead of acting like crazy, biased fanbois!!! Kinda like how liberal loonies talk politics, boy are this some crazy, mentally unbalanced people!!!

Well, minimalistic was kind of the point, with WP. Microsoft wanted to introduce something that was easy to get into right out the box, without a whole lot of fuss. There're plenty of features that could be used without downloading a lot of apps to do. That is of course, you have a Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn account.
Owning a WP myself, I feel that they could have done a bit more on the customization part. Im not talking Android level, as that would have take away from the focus. Features like customizing color of the theme, using a color scale, custom email, text and media messages and be able to use pics on those native home screen tiles. These aren't deal breakers by any means. They just would have been nice to have.

On Phone Scoop, being called a so-called "troll" is sooo easy.
Personally I dont even use that word.
