So nothing is doubled to more nothing. . .

These wireless companies don't seem to understand
people don't use their smart phones ALL on the
same cell tower, it's mobile tech, duh!
Usage is spread out over many cell towers,
hence the phrase "mobile"!

If people like yourself would have limited your data consumption to begin with, we wouldn't be in this unlimitless nightmare we're in now.

No. I disagree. Yes, he is selfish, but offering Unlimited is simply not a model that bean counters can live with.

It's not like me, or any other "so-called heavy users" use 90gigs/mo!!!! THAT is a lot!!! 10-14gb's/mo isn't much. And like I keep saying, it's --MOBILE-- tech, it's not all on the same tower.

Most people only use their smart phones cause their Facebook junkies.
There are things to do with a smartphone that are data intensive. Like watching videos.
And it's an extremely expensive bill,...which therefore motivates me to make sure I get my $'s worth!!!

I think the most important thing to remember here, is that the mobile broadband use by smartphones and tablets is growing exponentially. It is perfect timing for carrier experimentation. Experimental for carriers to see what they can get away with. This means that how well society adapts to the carriers pricing vs data offerings right now, will reflect on how these carriers continue the same practice in the future.

If someone uses more than the carrier alots and customers continue to pay, or they adhere to carrier's rules, the carriers have no reason to retract or reconfigure their plans. Until the carriers can get a grip on what customers are looking for, they need to see them walk away for greener pastures. It is important for ...

The so- called definition of a "lot" of data is sooo
misconstrued!!!!

And like I said, it's --mobile-- tech!!!
Not all data is used on the same tower!!!
Plus the faster the network is, the faster the phone
gets off the cell tower.
