Somebody with the power to do so needs to call BS on this whole lawsuit thing, and send all the smartphone companies and their lawsuits packing. Enough already!

Yeah, but who? The ITC would be about the only body that could and they won't because they would need judicial backing. The judiciary won't do it, no matter how tired they are of frivolous court actions clogging their dockets, because of the possible appearance of impropriety. The problem really becomes either broad stroke patents and/or liberal interpretation of the patents in question. Ultimately, it comes back down to what I said before. That it created???? Are you kidding me? Apple was not the first kid on the block, and the fact of the matter is that Apple's competition has surpassed them. So, yes, fear, pure and simple. Run a side by side comparision between any iPhone on the market and any top end Android phone. Do your homework, then contribute to the conversation.

Bwahahahaha. All apple did was popularize touchscreen only phones. Ill be the first to say the iPhone 1 was innovative and different and awesome. But they haven't innovated since. Which is common practice for apple. Android perfected the OS side. And if you don't think its possible that a manufacturer can " create" something and then be bested and stifled. Talk to Ford about the automobile. Thanks.
