It's not greed, honestly. It's fear. Fact of the matter is, the iPhone 4 and 4S have shortcomings, especially against new high end Android devices. Apple is so afraid of actually competing in the market that they decide to try to block in the courts. It has gotten ridiculous. They are trying to do the same thing to HTC also, only Apple is going after ALL of their smartphones. Again...fear.

I agree that they are afraid, but they are afraid of losing their enormous profit margins. Virgin is selling the latest iPhone for $649 locked to their prepaid service, while the latest Android Nexus is $399 unlocked. If Apple didn't want so much money for their phones, they wouldn't have to worry so much about competition.

I agree the 4 and 4S have run their course, why else would they be selling to every CDMA regional who will listen, and opening it up to Crickett and VMU, 3.5 inch screen is just too small anymore, and even when they go to the IPHONE 5 with a 4,0 screen, people will still seek larger screen Androids.

Agree...Totally ridiculous. Apple is looking for us as customers BAN buying any Apple product.
