The end of an era

As a long time customer of Sprint, I will miss the Nextel iDEN network. It was great for its time (late 90's - 2000's) and had a lot of unique features and indestructible phones. I just recently gave up my old Motorola i530 that I held on to dearly forever and made the switch to a Motorola Admiral. I must say, I do like the Sprint PTT service just as well. Now if only Moto builds some decent phones for Sprint ptt instead of these half-baked Kyocera phones!

Goodbye Nextel network. You will be missed. Not by many, but just a few who still cling to their iDEN bricks.

Yes, those type of phones will be missed the Admiral is a Motorola phone and it is tough one at that with fast 3G and PTT something Nextel would never have.

The Kyocera phones are tough too however they are not as nice as the Motorola brand phones. I am sure they will come out with more durable and better quality phones in the upcoming future.
