Verizon's Galaxy S III Goes Up for Preorder June 6

The question still goes unanswered... Who forced VZW to lower the price. If I am not mistaking Samsung stated that the phone will be sold for $199 & $249 not VZW. Just the same as the iPhone prices are priced by Apple and is pretty much uniform accross the board. I understand that the Samsung Gallaxy III is a "high end model" but what really states whats "high" end? Could it be they used material that would have lowered the production cost? But overall you stated that VZW was forced to lower their prices, who forced it?
