Verizon's Galaxy S III Goes Up for Preorder June 6
Who force them to stop the $299? I have not seen nor have heard anything about this.
Verizon has been known to charge $299 for it's high end 4G LTE devices while AT&T has only charged $199 for their 4G LTE devices. So you would think that Verizon would charge $299 for the Galaxy S III since it's brand new, high-end, LTE, etc. They did so with the Galaxy Nexus but as soon as they saw Sprint was only charging $199 for their Nexus, Verizon magically lowered their price to $199 as well. That's why you need competition in the indsutry.
