Cricket to Sell Apple iPhone 4/4S Starting June 22

What is there stopping this carrier and others like them from "flashing" another carrier's equipment now?

Mr/Mrs Customer signs up with a major carrier, buys an iphone at the SUBSIDIZED promo pricing with contract. Then simply stops paying the bill and takes the equipment that was paid for $199 cash and $450 with a now broken contract. How many people actually get the fact that the carriers pay full price for the phone and in the case where the contracts are not fufilled it is a huge loss.

One of the few recourses that the carrier has to protect its investment was to lock that ESN to the deadbeat account. Not to mention this could possibly fuel an already existing market for stolen iphones.

Apple is the honey badger in this whole matter as they have already got their money and they have expanded the demand for their product... What consumers don't know is that APPLE sells these devices to the carriers at full price, then charges an additional activation fee then charges a monthly fee on all active subscribers monthly reoccuring charges.. As I said Apple is the Honey Badger...
