Sprint has been slowing down IDEN sales for the last several month, and IDEN customers have been notified over the last several months. IDEN customers have also been offered early upgrade to transition from IDEN to CDMA. I understand the article makes it appear that Sprint just dropped the bomb on IDEN customers today, but this has been part of Network Vision in the works for several months.
