phone this could possibly go in? I feel a 5" screen is over the limit. My buddy has the Samsung Note and that thing is ridiculous.

It may go into a tablet. LG may also produce a larger or smaller version in the future. I guess most people cannot tell the pixels apart at those sizes, as they are too small. So what is the point of making a display so small with such high resolution?

They did him a favor lol.The iPhone is so 2007 anyway. Most overrated device. Although I do agree that 5"+ is a bit extreme for screen size on a phone but 3.5" is puny. The iPhone looks like a fisher price toy. I don't understand how anyone can deal with that POS on a daily basis. Looking at the same row of icons on a puny ass screen. No widgets, no customization, no navigation, no flash, so restrictive unless you jailbreak, at the mercy of iTunes, iOS is so god damn boring, when is it gonna get a refresh? Ugh the list goes on and on .

Man, you said it perfect. If you have seen 1 Iphone you have seen them all. Android on the other hand is much nicer. Everyone has something different going on with there desktops and not one looks the same. Just saying, Android >Iphone

He got the phone to FaceTime with his wife while he was deployed in Japan. I wouldn't say they did him a favor considering he couldn't get a new phone until he came back to the states, which was not for another few months. Kind of tough for him because she's pregnant. He doesn't care about customization and widgets and such, he just wants a form of communication with his wife with ease. There are far more important things that worrying about what devices people use.

Android is improving. Ice Cream Sandwich seems very impressive but I'll stick with my iPhone for now.

Or people just don't care and they are happy with what they already have. After sinking money into apps and such and having it set up the way I have it set up, I wouldn't want to switch unless I needed to.

I have people say that about my Skyrocket. Have yet to see the Note in the wild, but I'm sure it looks beastly to see someone whip one out of their pocket... if it fits in the pocket 🤣

i have the samsung Note, love it!
after you used the Note, it' not that big!
i used to say the same thing about 4.3" phone (before i have it), that' it too big!
it' not about how it looks, it' about what it can do!
i'm sure the Transformers movies is ridiculous too! and how many million$ did they make?

But there's a certain point where I have to agree with Eric in his review of the Note... a phone should be able to be used with just one hand. The Galaxy Note is big enough where it almost necessitates you to use both of your hands to work it, especially if you're using Swype (though the S-Pen does look nice for that).

I have to disagree. I was about to get the Note, thinking the same thing you say here - I think it sounds too large, but once I see it, I will disagree!

I checked it out at Best Buy before getting it, and I'm glad I did - it's just too big. I couldn't lug that thing around all day.
