Assuming that it is basically the Playbook OS modified for a phone I don't think that will be an issue, it is similar enough to the traditional Blackberry OS that it won't confuse longtime users, and is a lot more stable and powerful.

I agree that the traditional Blackberry OS has gone about as far as it can, but the question is whether the next path is a refresh that keeps the basic Blackberry feel while modernizing it for the 21st century, which is what Blackberry 10 is, or to completely scrap everything and start over from square one, which is what Android would be. I think the latter is simply out of the question.
