Nearly twice the cost?

Mobile Hotspot should be free to those who already pay for unlimited data, but Sprint almost doubled the price. I am disappointed. Luckily, I don't need it.

Sprint is positioning their price plans to ensure actual handset only use remains unlimited. If you're tethering or using a mobile hot spot that has not or ever have been included in you base price plan features.

I see Sprint carrying UNLIMITED data for actual handset usage from here on.

yeah, and data should be unlimited on ALL carriers. But is it? NO. At least now the pricing is inline with their standalone hotspot device plans. From a sales prespective, a little pricing consistancy is always good for preventing customer confusion.
