I would have to pick the motorola a630 for a device like this. This one will probably be a lot cheaper in price than the a630. considering the a630 has a camera and bluetooth.

It's actually a really nice phone. I was picked to test this phone out and it's really nice. A camera would be nice and bluetooth would be great but the phone is amazing. I hope that it gets released soon.

It's aimed to be a low cost qwerty device. I don't think if it included bluetooth or a camera they would beable to keep it low cost. That is just my opinion.

Maybe so. I've really gotten used to not having the wires from my headset getting caught up or tangled. The bluetooth headset has really been great for me. The camera is the thing that I can do without on my phone. Yet, many people prefer a camera over bluetooth. I guess it just depends upon your preference.

Did Cingular pick you to test the phone? Have you gotten the phone yet to test? I'd be interested to hear a mini review.

Companies choose testers all the time with different qualifiers. For instance, VZW gave away 100 free phones in Washington DC morket and 100 free phones in the L.A. market. lg8000s so that they could get a test audience for the EVDO technology utilizing streaming video. Qualifications were based on data usage. Customers with high data usage were made this offer - with age and history of account having nothing to do with it. The phones were given (not lent) at zero cost to the customer so long as they accepted a $15 EVDO feature be added to their account.

How did you get picked to test out the phone? Is there an age requirement? How can I be a tester? I would love to find out more information along with phillyslicker. 😲
