I would assume those 550 created will be different positions filled by different people than the extra 550 they're letting go. In a general arithmetic sense you are correct, though.

Either way, still MUCH better than the 'T-Mobile is axing 1000 jobs' that was reported a few days ago (assuming that this isn't in addition to those).
