Boy, talk about kicking them right in the crotch. You'd think they would have had that 'software workaround' cleared up before the launch of their most important products.

Apple can drop ship a device to anywhere in the US (heck the world) from the Foxconn slave factories in China, and HTC gets held up in customs?

I know right? I'm glad this has happened anyway and I hope it gives Apple negative publcity. Too bad it wont affect sales much though. I guess Apple is taking the Tonya Harding approach. If you can't beat the competition, keep them from competing.

Right, because HTC totally didn't have about a month to fix this infringing patent issue. Great logic there. HTC shot themselves in the foot for neglecting the ruling provided to them.

You're aware of the whole HTC ripped off Apple thing, right?

Everyone rips off everyone. What's next? Apple gonna ban Apples from coming into the country all because they share the same name? Is a wheel not supposed to be round? Is a button not supposed to be pressed? Apple's claims are unwarranted and baseless. Apple can go EAD and so can you troll.

but HTC was informed of the ruling and had over a month to fix what they infringed upon. Since they didn't do it, that's what they get. This all began with HTC being caught on infringing on patents.

But ya, keep blaming Apple for HTC's stealing ways and still having the nerve to release 2 phones with the same infringing patents. I'm glad HTC is getting slapped for this, ****ing idiots.

If they were unwarranted and baseless, why did the ITC find HTC Guilty? Isn't that the exact opposite of "unwarranted and baseless?" In fact, it seems to me if a trade organization found that after a many months long investigation that they infringed upon Apple's designs and patents, that Apple's claims would be warranted and with good base.
