Does this really come as that much of a surprises? At least T-Mo doesn't seem to be blaming the FCC for stopping the merger.

T-mobile didn't even know about the merger until they saw it in the news. It was DT that tried to sell them off, and they didn't even tell them. I doubt T-Mobile would complain about that, as i am sure that specific entity would prefer to remain independent.

I won't say who I worked for, but it was a corporate mega merger in the past few years. The acquiring company made the layoffs in the acquired company, and after that was done began trying to replace all the acquired employees with new hires and promote only legacy employees.

AT&T wasn't trying to buy T-Mobile for the talent of its employees to serve customers, it wanted to buy cash flow from customers, spectrum assets, and elimin...
