Is LTE new or something???
LTE has been in the U.S. for 17 months!!!! LTE is not new!!! Duh Nvidia & Samsung!!!
...
LTE is not new, but there are not too many quad-core chips out there. Quad-core technology in phones is relatively new. Considering that a 4G LTE quad-core chip will come out next year, I think that Nvidia's adapting rather quickly.
...
Rumor is there is a quad-core S4 processor coming out at the end of this year called Krait. HTC is rumored to be coming out with a Galaxy Note competitor that features the Krait processor.
I've been told that someone like myself, who mostly does music streaming, watching news videos, and web browsing, that 1GB of RAM, and 1.5ghz dual-core S4 processor in the GSIII will serve me just fine.
And I disagree, LTE isn't new. It's been available in the U.S. since 12/10.
...
And it hasn't been reliable since it's availability. This isn't an easy problem to solve, especially for a company that no baseband experience. You write as if they OWE you this chipset.

"Me: LTE is not new...". I agreed with you on that point in my initial response. 🤨

Exactly. The current processors out there on the market would work just fine.
