That alone wouldn't concern me but due to their failed attempt to sell to ATT and their fleeing customer base I suspected they were going to become a pre-paid service only.

actually a) its only NEW customrs and b) its not prepaid w/ prepaid u pay for your minutes before your cycle starts and w/ the new billing your bill is due in the middle of your cycle
