Sprint Putting Direct Connect In Android App Form

Just what Sprint needs to keep DC alive

I have been thinking this to myself for years since Android phones were first available on Sprint. I have always used direct connect on my i530 and absolutely loved it with the few people remaining who still use DC.

I recently upgraded to the Motorola Admiral, a Sprint Direct Connect Android phone, and DC works just as well on CDMA EVDO RevA as it did on iDEN network.

The only problem with Direct Connect is that as people are moving away from iDEN network less people are chosing to keep Direct Connect with the very small selection of decent phones that Sprint offers with this feature built-in.

I'm hoping that with this application, Sprint will be able to expand their user base of DC, and more people will willingly adopt it and make...
