phone users, especially power users expect phones in general and smartphones in particular to become smaller and more powerful with becoming much more expensive. with added power comes added expectations for media storage but adding more ram takes up space and costs money. so tiny storage formats make sense in that they provide a space for power users like you guys to add more memory to a phone without a big hit in size or cost for the new phone buyer. that's not stupid is it?
